Smoky Mountains May/June 2004

We drove on the Cades Cove driving loop through the park. There is a black bear in the first picture, but it's impossible to see.

We hiked to Grotto Falls.

We hiked to Rainbow Falls.

We saw a "pink" squirrel!

There was a scorpion in the shower! I found it right before I stepped in.

We went horsebackriding! It was fun, except that Wendy's saddle was on crooked.

Was Bob really on this trip?
Yes, he was operating the digital camera. If you see the pictures from Wendy's camera, he is present.

Was Wendy's saddle on crooked, or was she sitting crooked?
Wendy's saddle really was crooked. The trail guide tried to fix it once she was on the horse, but to no avail... Hence, the next day, her back hurt.
