3000GT/Stealth National Gathering 2007

Here are my drag race timeslips from the 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering 2007 held in Stevensville, Michigan on July 11-15, 2007. There are also links to others pictures below. Even though I sold my Stealth, I decided to take my WS6 and go to the 3/S National Gathering again because I still really like 3/S cars and also to meet old friends again.

Drag Race Time Slips

Here are my time slips from the drag race which was held at US131 in Martin, MI. As you can tell from the scans, I was car number 176. Since I didn't have a 3/S, I was not competing in a class, so I was in the "Other" category, which is where there's an X after the number on my car. I made 4 passes on motor only (no nitrous), and then I made 2 passes with a 100 shot of nitrous. I was running street tires at 34 psig.
My best run without nitrous was 13.15 @ 107.4 MPH and my best with the 100 shot of nitrous was 12.76 @ 115.3 MPH. At first glance it appears that the 100 shot didn't gain much in the ET, but the best NA pass had a 2.1 60', and the best nitrous pass had a 2.4 60' so it's not exactly a fair comparison. I had an NA pass with a 2.4 60' (run #2 below), and when comparing that to the 100 shot run, I gained ~0.8 seconds and ~8 MPH with the 100 shot of nitrous, which seems more reasonable.
The A/F ratio on the NA runs was 12.5:1, which is a bit conservative, but it's where I tuned it to be for now. The A/F ratio on the nitrous runs was ~11.5:1, which is a bit richer than I want (aiming for 11.8 ), but I didn't have a chance to change the jets between runs. (the runs were <5 minutes apart, LOL)
