MSD DIS-4 Ignition

Here are some pictures of my installation of the MSD DIS-4 Ignition with tach adapters (2 of part number 8912). I purchased it used, and it only included one side of the harness connection, so I had to cut it off, and make my own connections. I chose to mount the MSD unit and tach adapters near the ECU in the interior, because there have been several reports that the units have a tendency to get overheated and fail when subjected to high underhood temperatures. I wanted to make the installation easily reversible, so I purchased an ignition test connector (MD998464) from Miller Tools (<$20 shipped). I made it so that the plug to the coils connected to one side of the ignition test connector, and those wires went into the MSD. Then the wires back from the MSD went into the other side of the ignition test connector, which plugged into the coils. The tach adapters were wired in according to the MSD 8912 Tach Adapter Installation Guide.
