Fuel Pump Rewire
This is the second part of my fuel pump noise problems. For the first part of my problems and fix, see the
Fuel Pump Relay Bypass. Once the fuel pump relay bypass was fixed, the fuel pump still made
a consistent whining noise, and the tone changed when the turn signal was used. Therefore, the fuel pump was rewired.
A strand of 10 gauge wire was fused near the battery, and ran all the way to just above the gas tank, where it was hooked
into a 30 amp relay, triggered by the stock wire. Now, I have no more problems with funny fuel pump noises.
This was performed using Stealth 316 - Fuel Pump Hot Wire and Stealth 316 - Fuel Pump Rewire for reference.
