Fuel Pump Relay Bypass
I had known about the fuel pump relay bypass mod for a while, but I'd just never taken the time to do it.
However, after installation of my Walbro fuel pump, I noticed odd, inermittent noises coming from it.
This would also correspond with an erratic idle, and a very distinct lack of power.
Therefore, I decided to finally do the
Fuel Pump Relay Bypass.
Miraculously, it eliminated the intermittent "bad" noises, and it changed the noise to the trademark Walbro whine noise.
Apparently, there was a problem with the relay, and bypassing it elminated the problem.
With this problem solved, it was time to move on to the Fuel Pump Rewire.
