550cc Denso Fuel Injectors
I purchased a used set of 550cc Denso Fuel Injectors because I was showing a very high (99%) IDC when boosting to 16 psi on 13g turbos with 450cc DSM injectors.
As I had done an injector swap to the 450s previously, it was relatively simple to do for the second time. See my notes on the 450cc DSM injectors for my hints and suggestions for installation. Once I had everything disassembled, I decided that I wanted to polish the lower plenum and fuel rails. So I purchased some polishing materials (sandpaper, etc), and spent quite a while on it. The pieces turned out relatively well. See pics below for results.
Once everything was installed, I changed my S-AFC settings to -32% across the board initially. Currently I am running approximately -30% across the board for high throttle, and -33% across the board for low throttle. The low throttle point is set at 15% and the high throttle point is set at 30%.
